Explore iconic South Beach architecture and celebrate the 1920s during Miami Beach Art Deco Weekend in January. The whole world recognizes Miami beach as the glamorous Art Deco Historic District of film and television, but locals and visitors from Greater Miami and Miami Beach can step onto the scene and join in the celebration of this cultural gem during the 46th Annual Miami Design Preservation League.

Art Deco Weekend, which will take place from January 13 to 15, 2023. The theme of this year’s celebration is “Art Deco worldwide”, in honor of the World Art Deco Congress, coming to Greater Miami and Miami Beach April 20-28.

Activities during the Art Deco weekend center around the Welcome Center and Art Deco Museum, located in the Ocean Front Auditorium building, owned by the city. The center is the center of activities and walking tours during the three-day celebration and throughout the year.

The museum features permanent and special exhibits on Mediterranean Revival, Art Deco, and Miami Modern (MiMo), architectural styles you’ll find throughout the district.
