The 40th edition of the Miami Film Festival returns to showcase the best international and Ibero-American films from emerging and established filmmakers from around the world. Some of the world’s biggest stars and filmmakers have graced the screens at the Miami Film Festival in the hands of Riz Ahmed, Aldis Hodge, Javier Camara, Andra Day, and Pedro Almodovar. Attracting nearly 45,000 attendees a year, 300 filmmakers, producers, talent, and industry professionals from around the world, and running in a hybrid format (both virtual and in-theater) throughout 2021, the 2023 Miami Film Festival will be no different: full of emotion!

With over $100,000 in prize money, the Miami Film Festival strives to be a beacon of support for local film talent and has elevated the work of numerous local filmmakers through exciting marquee screenings and generous prize money such as the Knight Made in MIA Award for Locally Produced Feature Films. and shorts

Featured films will be screened at various locations in Miami.
