The center of the action will be the gleaming Miami Beach Convention Center. The massive Convention Center is divided into sections, each with its own curatorial focus:
- Galleries: This is the main area or section, where 213 main galleries will show important works in all media.
- Positions: This is where you’ll find 19 solo shows by emerging international artists like Tonia Nneji, Leslie Martinez, and Ishi Glinsky.
- New: This year, Nova will showcase 22 submissions from 23 galleries. Artists include Los Angeles artists Anabel Juárez and Greg Ito in a dual installation; John Edmonds; Pinaree Sanpitak; Nikita Kadan; Julia Wachtel; Edgar Heap of Birds and emerging artists Erin Ggaadimitis Ivalu Gingrich and Robyn Tsinnajinnie.
- Poll: In this sector, 17 galleries will present works created before the year 2000. Artists include Milford Graves, Dread Scott, Cuban artist Agustín Cárdenas, Japanese artist Ei-Q, and Spanish artist Aurèlia Muñoz.
- Publishing: In this sector, 11 exhibitors will show engravings and published works. Exhibitors include Cristea Roberts Gallery (London); Crown Point Press (San Francisco); Gemini GEL (Los Angeles); Carolina Nitsch (New York); Pace Prints (New York); Paragon (London); Graphic Work Polygraph (Barcelona); Susan Sheehan Gallery (New York); STPI (Singapore); Two Palms (New York); and ULAE (New York).
- Meridians: Curated by Magalí Arriola, director of the Tamayo Museum in Mexico City, this year’s Meridianos section presents 20 large-scale projects by renowned and emerging artists.
- Cabinet: Twenty-nine galleries present curated installations within their main stands.
