From art and design to history and culture, choose one of the many museums Miami has for you.

Pérez Art Museum Miami

PAMM is dedicated to international art of the 20th and 21st centuries from the perspective of the Americas.

The bayfront museum boasts an impressive permanent collection as well as compelling exhibits.

The landmark building by Pritzker Prize-winning architects Herzog & de Meuron further cemented Miami’s place as a leading city of the arts.

Phillip And Patricia Frost Museum Of Science

One of the only institutions in the world to feature a state-of-the-art planetarium and state-of-the-art aquarium, the 250,000-square-foot facility sits on four acres of land overlooking Biscayne Bay, surrounded by the dazzling skyline of the Miami downtown.

The museum’s exhilarating exhibits span six levels within a north and west wing with rooftop observation decks housing an urban garden.

The museum’s permanent exhibits are dedicated to the biodiversity of South Florida, the physics of light, aviation, the human mind and body, and more.

Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami

The first American project designed by Spanish architecture firm Aranguren + Gallegos Arquitectos, the Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami (ICA) is housed in a three-story, 37,500-square-foot building in the Miami Design District neighborhood.

Founded by the Board of Trustees and former staff of the Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami, they are dedicated to promoting new narratives and continued experimentation in contemporary art.

The Wolfsonian-FIU

The Wolfsonian consists of two collections: its Library Collection, which consists of some 60,000 smaller-format works on paper, and the Object Collection, which includes all three-dimensional objects and large-format works on paper, such as posters, as well as a large collection of modern paintings.

Most of the collections at The Wolfsonian were donated by Mitchell Wolfson, Jr., but the museum also holds a large number of items acquired through other donations, purchases, and long-term loans.

Wolfsonian has published catalogs of some of its exhibitions and parts of its collections, and there are plans to produce more frequent publications of future museum exhibitions.

Vizcaya Museum & Gardens

Conceived by retired millionaire James Deering, Vizcaya Museum & Gardens was originally built in the 1910s as his private Coconut Grove beachfront estate.

Today the original house and gardens, occupying 50 acres of land, are preserved and open to the public for tours.

In addition to its historical intrigue, Vizcaya is also home to contemporary art exhibits and a charming outdoor cafe overlooking the pool, ideal for lunch.
